What are the opinions here of what I’ve been reading that some are talking of seceding from the Union if the president cannot get this overturned? Is this just angry rhetoric? I’m only assuming that if Texas and others secede they will appoint Trump to be their Jefferson Davis… I don’t know. Either way it just looks to be ugly….

The secession talk won't go anywhere. Just because a bill is introduced, doesn't mean it will even get out of committee, much less be voted on.

The opinion, which was released this morning, says local elections officials were wrong to suggest that voters could claim the status of "indefinitely confined" based on COVID-19. The majority decision also held that if voters falsely claimed they were indefinitely confined "their ballots would not count.
