While I understand that there are men who seem to fill a particular office in the 5 fold ministry, I am of the opinion that every minister should, at various times, be used in all 5 offices of the five fold ministry as the need of the body, the church, dictates. Every minister should be apt to teach, to pastor, to evangelize, to prophesy, and to operate as an apostle or establishmentarian (just for AtlantaBishop)

What is your opinion on my view?
Good!

Hmmm ... I think some have multiple gifts ... but the Apostle seems to stress the word some ... in his passage ....

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.

Okay, make that, because she doesn't believe a hardline Acts 2:38 and hold standards anymore.

Well, what has been clearly violated? Or are you privy to information that the board is not?

I love Michelle in the Lord, and have prayed for her often and will continue to.

But when people withdraw and isolate themselves from the influences that God has ordained, in clear opposition to the Scripture, it is what it is.
Hmm. What has been in clear oppostion? Is she failing to attend a church? Getting drunk? Smoking dope? Trimming her hair? What?

Yesterday at work, someone had something terrible happen and they yelled the Lord's name in vain. My very liberal co-worker, who knows I am a Christian looked at me grinning. I said "Why doesn't anyboy, when they get angry say "Buddha!" or "Allah!". Maybe they do in other countries. I don't know.

Too convenient.

Hmmm, I will try that next time I slam my finger in the door.

"Oh, Buddha!"

I believe that Allah is still God, just in a different language since they are talking about the same God of Moses...

I don't, but I think all people who take the name of the Lord in vain should say Buddha or Allah instead. You know, it just doesn't have the same effect. I believe that people who call God Allah may be worshipping the true God in their hearts, but I think that Allah is a very different God than Jesus.
