Once I heard him say, "I don't preach on sin. There's already enough sin. You take a little bald headed man that aint never been out and had a lot of fun running with the wimmin folk. You start preaching on sin and he will sit there and start wonderin' what he's been missing. One day, you are going to look around and not be able to find him because he's out chaising the wimmin folk. So, I don't preach about sin, there's already enough sin."
Yeah, that's ol' Reverand Ikenrankhulter (sp?).
Hmmm. Now that you mention it, I haven't, either. Hmmm.
Reminds me of a story. We were talking at dinner (we have weird conversations at the Timmy family table, as you might imagine) about adultery. Wife says, "I just don't know how people can live with themselves, when they have that on their conscience".
I said, "Oh, I dunno. Haven't tried it."
Now, you'd think a lady would be glad to hear a bit of confirmation that her man's been true, all these years. So far. But no. She didn't quite see it that way.

There are ways to tell a story and ways not to tell one. Kinda like looking at your sweetie and saying "when I look in your eyes, time stands still" as opposed to "you got a face that could stop a clock!"
Ike lives in Fort Lauderdale now. He is retired I guess. Dad sees him every once in awhile they have supper somewhere. Stills has a chaffuer driven Rolls.
There is a man out here in Phx that is driven around in a Rolls.
