That is the Million Dollar question.

Sounds like many in UPC need to make up their mind.

You will encounter guidelines within any association. When the affirmed becomes infringed purposefully, disciplinary actions must be administered. The District Superintendent's actions were appropriate. He, as I, have a common interest, running tight ships. Unfortunately, many await our breeds extinction within our organization.

Not extinction. Just exit so you guys can go do your "Us 4 and no more" thing with others of your like mindset.

Then you guys can sit around and argue how long is long for shirt sleeves and all of those other terribly important doctrinal points.

The funny thing is that tv is NOT banned. A minister CAN have a tv that is for video purposes only to watch educational stuff, church services, and wholesome entertainment.

The whole issue with tv is that it is almost totally entertainment based. The internet is mostly inforamtional based. I know there are exceptions on both sides, but the fact is that those that cry over a tv ban are not wanting tv JUST so they can reach the lost. They want to watch ungodly stuff. I have to wonder what they are already view on the internet that is wetting their appetite for worldliness.

Here's the problem I've noticed with family that still attend a UPCI church. They go to Blockbusters and rent movies that are rated R!!!

Such movies can't be seen on TV unless you add pay channels such as HBO etc.

At least they can say they don't watch the filth on TV!!

In other words, when you guys fall flat on your face because of the filth on TV, you will crawl back to us spiritual non-compromisers to ask us to help you with your miserable messed up life.

Count how many people that you know whose life and marriage has been destroyed by watching TV, and compare that with the number of people that you know whose life and marriage has been destroyed by the internet! CASE CLOSED!!!
