You have to dredge them in flour so the broth will thicken. It won't thicken just by putting the tortillas in the broth. You don't use a lot of flour, just enough to dust the tortillas. Try it! It's easy!
My son was wanting me to make him some yesterday, but I forgot to by a whole chicken when I shopped the other day. I think I'll run to the store in a little while and do that. I have to wake up first and then get dressed. Not happening any time soon.

Did you see the cardboard fireplace I found and posted on Tamor's Christmas thread? I didn't know they sold them anymore!!!

Sorry your dad is sick. Hope he feels better. I'm getting ready to log out myself. I need to clean out my closet!!!! ARghhhh! I'm ticking off things to get straightened around here. Finished my library yesterday. My husband loves when I'm organized. LOL!

No - I must have missed that.
We do have our silver tinsel tree up - - all we need is the fireplace!
I had them all over for a party on Sunday afternoon and we brought all the leftover food from the party in yesterday -- ugh!
