I can't join certain women's groups, for obvious reasons, but I don't complain. They can't join some of my groups, either!

What are you not comprehending in this thread??????? It was NEVER about people being upset they couldn't join JP. It was legitimate MEMBERS OF JP who had their access restricted for no apparent reason. Apparently you, too, have not read this entire thread. If you find my responses to Elder Epley you can read what happened and how it is being corrected. It is all of you people who don't closely read the thread that cause all the fuss.

I like fairness and balance and if you want a forum for preacher's only then that is what it should be limited to with no exception.
I was never personally attacking anyone. There are many of my friends posting there and that was why I was invited.

Who invited you? Was it an Admin of the forum? If not, then the member really had no authority to invite anyone, in my opinion.
And, while I agree that there is probably some injustice (just as there is in ANY organization) I wouldn't base my opinion on what someone else is doing, only on what I am doing.
I've never tried to join JP, since I'm not a preacher at this point in my life, and by avoiding it, I've avoided the heartburn that obviously many folks have with that particular forum.

If your friend is a non-posting member, then this may explain why.
"Lurkers" who never post are more likely to be people signed up under false pretenses than someone who regularly interacts.
All he has to do is provide a little information or perhaps a reference that will verify his identity.

Rhoni, in all honesty, your intelligence threatens some of those men and therefore they would deny you. It is true there are many women and men who are not preachers posting on JP.

Apparently, on AFF, we call them "posses", lol!

I think it has more to do with she's not a preacher or preacher's wife.

If all those liars are there, then it explains why an attempt is being made to cull the membership.
You have just answered your own question.
