Thanks for sharing your testimony. I am truly thankful for the work that is being to reach out in this area.

Truly very few could relate on a level sufficient to have an effective ministry.
Respectfully, I disagree. It doesn't take a former prostitute to help a prostitute. It takes the power of the Gospel working through a willing and humble vessel.

They would have much more "street cred" but to have an effective ministry, you don't have to be sin, to pull people out of the grasp of sin's hold.

Just wanted to chime in on that.

i would have to respectfully question that reply jeffrey. most people who are in that life have been hurt so much, its hard to trust anyone, everyone looks scary and you don't trust anyone. when you have been hurt by EVERYONE who is supposed to love you (as most of these girls have) why would you trust a smiling stranger who has no idea how to help. would you offer them a home and love until they could provide a way to make a living, help them get training etc...emotional support? i dont see any "vessels" but annie and her church friends out there. 99 percent of people would have no idea what to say to a hooker on the street.

I'll be honest I would not know what to say to a female in this profession if you will.

Why did the woman at the well trust the stranger named Jesus?

My point was not that Annie and her team can't reach these people, it was the notion that others that aren't like Annie aren't able to. Sin is sin. And we all have our own backgrounds and wretchedness. Our testimony is not our sin, it's the cross! The immense guilt and pressure of this industry, as it has been explained in the videos and in your testimony, is understandable. I'm only suggesting, we can reach anyone, anywhere without dividing ourselves up according to our former lifestyles.

You are testimony to some of the fruit of their ministry. I'm thankful for that. This is a forum where ideas and opinions are thrown around, so hopefully you've taken no offense. Someone posted this thread and gauged what we thought. Many of us chimed in from opinions all over the spectrum.

I don't apologize for having an opinion. I'm thankful some good fruit is happening there in Las Vegas through it. And I'm grateful to God that he is drawing someone like you unto Himself.
