I see you didn't say "obey orders".

That is what Church is. It's those members that make up a local congregation/community that are part of a larger global congregation/community. Are you part of a local community?
I attend a local congregation once or twice a month. I call the man in charge there Pastor, though to be honest, I don't really consider him to have any spiritual authority over me. For the most part I "tithe" to that congregation (though I do not believe tithing to be a NT requirement but part of the law). I say for the most part, because I will occasionally take from my tithe to meet a need outside of the church.

Some people refer to the church as the building rather than the people who are connected to each other spiritually and attached to the head - Christ.

If people (church) are inside the building and there are those in need outside the building then those inside the building can't minister both inside and outside at the same time. So in order for those inside to minister to those otuside the insiders must come outside as some point.

That's all I'm saying.

12 So whenever you speak, or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law of love, the law that set you free. 13 For there will be no mercy for you if you have not been merciful to others. But if you have been merciful, then God's mercy toward you will win out over his judgment against you.

People don't sit inside a building 24/7. You still have not substantiated your claim that a church that is building their church building I guess you meant....can't reach those outside the building....really I find the whole thing rather silly for you guys to say and also rather or perhaps intentionally vague. I think sometimes people just want to be critical for the sake of being critical. But you guys need to realize that eventually it becomes more dead weight to the church than liberating...all the negative criticism.

Why not attend more often? bless them with your zeal and love for God. Bring sinners to the services to become part of a local family

Nope, forget the bolded part -- it has nothing to do with what we were talking about. You didn't read my posts correctly or more probably I didn't explain myself properly.

You are correct. People don't sit in a building 24/7. Although, some feel that it's proper to be in the church building whenever the church building has it's doors open. We were advocating balance having ministry BOTH inside and outside the buliding. That's it.

As long as it's no mandated, required and demanded for salvation by a rule making man......

Go ahead and go as much as you like.

You think they could see that past the cut hair and TV watching habits?

And teach them to believe that God only loves you if you measure up?

Oh yeah:

I stopped worrying about what people like Sister Murphy think about me a long time ago. I'm just here to be a pain and remind people like her that they aren't as perfect, holy, righteous, and godlike as they like to think themselves to be.
