Obviously, the defendant didn't do this, else there wouldn't have been a physical altercation in the first place.

The 17 year old responded like a 17 year old would respond when feeling threatened-- which it is clear he did feel threatened. After all, he did attempt to run away from the aggressor.

I hope the prosecution gets to question the defendant. I want him to answer whether or not he approached the 17 year old.

My gut tells me he in fact did apprach the 17 year old-- leading to the altercation where the 17 year old was killed when tried to defend himself.

Why do you keep saying that GZ approached or attacked TM, there is zero evidence to those statements.

I've been involved in a discussion on Twitter with this case. The black person involved won't listen to reason. He doesn't care that the prosecution is losing.

His whole point is that GZ was "racial profiling" and needs to go to jail.

I pointed out that the break-ins at the complex have been young black men and even though profiling is a hard subject, there is going to be some of that.

So, at the end of the day, the racial profiling is a huge issue and focal point. And I think JD has brought that up before, stating that we couldn't understand how that feels.

Whether GZ "profiled" or not is irrelevant. We have laws and we go by facts. If JD and others want to shake their fists in the air and chant slogans they are of course free to do so, but TM was in no position to know GZ personally or read minds and know he was "profiling" and even if he was it does not justify beating the mess out of GZ nor does it dismiss self defense.

Of course everything you are saying is right and reasonable. But the focal point is still racial profiling and they will have none of the facts.

You see, we can't be reasonable anymore. No one wants to take responsibility. It doesn't occur to the author that the Defense is supposed to back her into a corner. Her side is trying to put the Defense's client in jail. If she did a poor job, it was because she wasn't prepped properly by the Prosecution.

OR she just may be ticked that she got caught red-handed coming in with her lies trying to defend TM, and not there to defend the truth. Which is my impression.
