Dan...as I said, I got in this late...so just an added validity to the conference.

The district conference has alternated between the north and south for the past few years. Last year it was down here in our neck of the woods. This year, it was held in the Northern part of the state...Tulare.

The vote in the South was not related to the vote at the conference. The vote in the South that took place yesterday was a vote that....knowing what the district voted, are you still in favor of forming a new district. That vote, along with the vote at conference is forwarded to HQ and taken to the general board where they will vote and that will be the final say.

I think we are on the same wavelength here SoCali.

What I meant was, not all who voted in the vote in Orange County went to the District Conference. Correct, in that is why there were two meetings, to make it easy for those who could not venture North. If approved by the GB, I would expect elections as early as Oct or Nov.

Time will tell what will come of this all.

It's pretty much a lock...as it has already been discussed with the General Board...and they are in approval of this happening.
