- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I didn't know prayer was such a big deal to you people. If I'm talking to people that pray, and tell them that I prayed, it wouldn't be any big deal. But if I'm talking to people that don't pray, and tell them I prayed, they're probably going to twist into something it isn't, which is what happened here.

So, if you want to ask questions, just accept folks answers as their opinion and don't get "sensitive", because that just doesn't fly here. We have been where you are, but you likely have not walked in our shoes, nor been were we are.
And BTW, my answers would all be "NO", except for the last one and it would be "YES". Read 1 Tim. 4:10, and you will find a very strong statement of why my answers are as stated.

I said "no" to number one, simply because I disagree with your premise that other Christian baptisims are not "in the name of Jesus". When clearly the person being baptized "has CALLED on the NAME of JESUS!

Nope, OPII, that doesn't fly. Now you're moving past defending yourself (you would probably be better off to just drop it), and accusing people you don't know of not praying. How could you possibly draw that conclusion and feel comfortable with it?
Move back to your topic and let the prayer thing go. It was over last night. It was no big deal really--it just came off a little weird. It DID sound snarky; I'm not saying you MEANT it that way, but that's how it came across. I'm happy that you pray! Never a bad thing. I have a brother-in-law who can be counted on to drop to his knees at around the same time every afternoon, no matter whether we're at his house or he's at ours. He's been praying with my kids playing on the floor next to him--and I love it. It's made a huge impact on my life and in theirs to know someone who is dependable about talking to God every day. What a great example.
That said, I've never heard him say, "Hey, I just got back from praying for a few hours...."

When did I accuse anyone of not praying? I'll admit, I don't much evidence of prayer here and the reaction to my statement about being in prayer last night was just weird. But thanks anyway for the advice to drop it. I will when I'm ready.
I'm glad you've never heard your whoever never say that he just got back from praying for a few hours. You've never heard me say it either.

While I have and do speak with tongues in my private prayer, I believe "Apostolics" have made speaking in tongues a "holy grail" of spirituality.
I know many folks that have not spoken in tongues, and yet are producing the fruit of the Spirit, and I believe God's Spirit does indwell them. So, again my answer to your #2, is also "no".

Aren't you the guy I've heard about that believes that everyone is saved? If you think everyone is saved, why bother with tongues? What's the point?
