I had an openly gay friend tell me that he didn't want to be gay. He admitted to me that it was against nature and the way things were supposed to be. If he had the choice he wouldn't be gay.

The last thing people need is more condemnation. We are not God's police, we are supposed to be God's healers.

Self condemnation is big. We find many have been molested. They hate themselves.
Some of them is is rebellion. What we don't find enough of is christians that will speak against unrighteousness. They coward behind the sin of not being politically correct or tolerant.
Now the fad is to use the culture to interpret the scripture. Sin doesn't change. Christians get blamed for instill guilt feelings and depression. When the Holy spirit convicts, one way to say no is accuse someone of laying a guilt trip on you,.

Not at all....... I am only righteous through Jesus..... That is beside the point . I believe if someone believes in Jesus and follow what he says they are free from sin . That is my point no matter the sin EVERYONE must repent and be baptized in Jesus name and filled with his Spirit and live a life worthy of him. EVERYONE no matter the sin, and yes Homosexuality is a sin.

This why we protect our innocent children. I notice there are no tv shows with gays that show them to be mean, nasty obnoxious. Funny and sweet yes.

And where men and women are imperfect, let's pray for God's grace and mercy. From what I'm reading, many are absolutely sinless, perfect, individuals called to police the sinner, round them up, and treat them.

That is why we don't have the credentials to stone them to death like the adulterous woman. If you stone them. you can win them to Christ.

I will admit, the close gay friends I have are average people with good days and bad days. A couple of them are very kind, humanitarian, and dedicated to a far greater degree to charity than I am... and being a Christian that convicts me. You'd think I'd be serving the hurting more right beside them.
