Do you really believe that? I seem to recall some serious defending of Camelot, in spite of his nefarious friends and suspect associations.

that is the most ludicrious comment I've read today.

individual votes elected Obama as the democratic candidate. He wasnt voted in b/c of his experience or glowing political record.

He was voted in b/c he appealed to the masses with his eloquent speeches and hollywood support.

he's the canidate b/c the uneducated masses were swayed by his image

Did the Democratic party also vote for who he would choose as VP?

He didnt chose Hillary b/c she is a threat to him.

If McCain had chosen some dried up old white man with more money than sense, would that have made him more or less political?

Instead he chooses a woman who understands the problems facing average americans, the working middle class......and his choice was political?

it was smart on his part and a sign there is HOPE for washington
That's the point...Obama could have chosen a crowd favorite....but he didn't. He chose experience should America face a crisis. McCain's choice is just a sensational bid for the vote of those uninformed folk begging for an excuse to vote for him.

Aquila, you're a pretty intelligent guy, but on this issue, you are as naive as a newborn babe.

Somehow, someway, you've convinced yourself that Obama is making his own decisions, and making them for all the right reasons, while McCain is just a bumbling idiot, with transparent motives.

Sorry, my friend, it's all politics.

Sorry your so narrow minded you can't see the sign in front of your face!

She is very qualified, perhaps you should have listened to her qualifications today.

Seems you have missed that. Perhaps IF you would take off your blinders you just might be able to see!

And if you want to discuss the company you keep then you sure DON'T want Obama, unless of course you want socialist/communist government. His pastor of nearly 20 years, is the kind of company YOU recommend???:

I think we are just lucky she happens to be a woman and goes to church.
Obama chose a man with strong qualifications to lead with him and to lead in his absence. McCain picked someone just because she was a woman and a Christian.

Yes. All the stupid Republicans and conservatives. LOL!!!

If you want to compare apples to apples and be fair about it, you could acknowledge that McCain has the experience, therefore, his VP can be chosen according to other qualities that may support and enhance his presidency.

But what experience is it that you are so concerned with? Military experience?
