I was on the receiving end of a brother v. brother lawsuit!

Yall
"GL" knows exactly what he is doing...This entire thread is directed to me....
I was REALLY mad the other night....some very slanderous things were publically said about me....I was hurt, shocked and down right Td Off!
I made the statement that I would sue if the person did not admit to lying about me and held some others accountable.
I was wrong...I was mad and I do apologize.
Anybody else want to just shoot me?

I don't think that we're to sue nor threaten to do such to a brother, just because we fell that they "really deserve it."

True, the thought process was instigated by your behavior..., but I really see this happening all too often - men and women threatening to take brothers, sisters to court. I know of one individual who threatened to take the org to court...

So does the fact that we are supposed to be "Brothers and Sisters" give each of us permission to beat the other up? I think Not.
Tell this If a "brother" hurt your family or even you...would yo just say...."Oh its ok...thats my brother"?
Of course not because a real Brother would not have dont the harm to begin with.

Unfortunately this passage of scripture isn't practiced in the church today. Saints are regarded as being low on the totem pole. Pastors and other leaders are protected even when proven in the wrong.
I'd say do all you can to keep from a lawsuit, but in the end you have to do what's best for you. And if it means a lawsuit, that may well need to happen in some extreme cases.
Just be prepared for the fallout.  Don't expect things to be rosey . . . especially if it's a minister or someone in leadership you target with a lawsuit.

Well ya shouldn't have ripped him off!!!! Selling him that cheap piano! I'd beat ya with it instead  J/K! I'm sure you have fine quality products with only the richest warm sounds, he he.

Fortunately, I've never ever come close to being sued over pianos!
The lawsuit I'm referring to was over the JCM DVD!
