Given the nature of human kind, there will always be a minority who disagree. And while the "Christian society" might be a majority, and support measures to institute biblical law, it will be forced upon the minority. Will it not? And seeing that it is "biblical law"... what would be done to that minority, who clearly disagree with living by the Reconstructionist interpretation of it?
Even with liberal human government, one is free to live as they wish privately. Under Reconstructionism, not so much so, especially if one's lifestyle, religion, or practice is in violation of biblical law.

For example, I don't believe in Christian Reconstructionism. I believe in a spiritual kingdom governed by spiritual principles of the NT that are to be taught and embraced by individuals without any involvement or coercion from the government. If the Reconstructionists got what they wanted... how could they argue that they wouldn't be imposing biblical law socio-politically (by force of government) upon me and those who believe as I do?
Can you explain?

No matter who is in government, SOMEBODY'S agenda will be enacted and enforced upon society. It will either be man's agenda, or God's.
Antinomians have no problem with armed enforcement of humanism, "democracy", liberalism, or whatever other label they put on their antichrist agenda. But when it comes to God and His Word, they suddenly start complaining against "use of force" or "imposing morality on the unwilling".
It's pure hypocrisy, a smokescreen to promote the enforcement and imposition of THEIR morality upon society.
Somebody will rule. Either God, or man.

When was the last time a liberal policy forced you to live, believe, or practice your faith in a manner that you disagreed with?

I agree they applied SOME of the law to the New Testament.

I'd have to say they applied "principles gleaned from the law" to the gentiles, but not the actual law itself. For example, the one who was sleeping with his father's wife in Corinth. No one advocated that they be stoned. But in principle, such was regarded as sin. The man was disfellowshipped. And interestingly enough, nothing is really said about how they dealt with the woman at all.

Then the question is "Why? Upon what basis?" Perhaps you can explain upon what basis do the apostles decide what applies and what does not?
Also, you must acknowledge that those four requirements are not the ONLY things gentile Christians are to adhere to. Otherwise, the other things I stated would be good to go...

Are all their employees catholic?
Also, keep in mind that contraceptives (birth control pills) can also be prescribed by a doctor to help women if they have various medical conditions.
Birth control pills are often prescribed to treat the following conditions:
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): is a hormonal imbalance which causes irregular menstrual periods, acne, and excess hair growth. For girls whose menstrual periods are irregular (too few or not at all), birth control pills work by lowering certain hormone levels to regulate menstrual periods. When hormones are at normal levels, acne and hair growth often improve.
Endometriosis: Most girls with endometriosis have cramps or pelvic pain during their menstrual cycle. Birth control pills are often prescribed continuously to treat endometriosis and work by temporarily preventing periods. Since periods can cause pain for young women with endometriosis, stopping periods will usually improve cramps and pelvic pain.
Lack of periods (“amenorrhea”) from low weight, stress, or excessive exercise: Birth control pills may be prescribed to replace estrogen, which helps to regulate the menstrual cycle. Normal estrogen levels and healthy weight are important for healthy bones. If lack of periods is caused by low weight or an eating disorder, the best treatment is weight gain to a normal healthy weight and counseling to address body image and health.
Menstrual Cramps: When over-the-counter medications don’t help with severe cramps, birth control pills may be the solution because they prevent ovulation and lighten periods.
Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS): Symptoms of PMS such as mood swings, breast soreness, weight gain and bloating, along with acne can occur up to 2 weeks before a young women’s period. Birth control pills may be prescribed to stop ovulation and keep hormone levels balanced. Symptoms may improve, particularly when oral contraceptive pills are prescribed continuously.
Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI): Birth control pills are often prescribed to girls who have ovaries that don’t make enough estrogen because of radiation and/or chemotherapy or a genetic condition such as Turner Syndrome or other conditions. The goal of this treatment is to regulate the menstrual cycle and keep bones healthy.
Heavy Menstrual Periods: Birth control pills can reduce the amount and length of menstrual bleeding.
Acne: For moderate to severe acne, which over-the-counter and prescription medications haven’t cured, birth control pills may be prescribed. The hormones in the Pill can help stop acne from forming. Be patient though, since it can take takes several months before you see an improvement with your skin.

Perhaps the Catholic Church is just unaware that contraceptives can also be used as a "medication". Or... maybe they just don't care about women as much as they do young altar boys.

1. Taxes for every liberal policy enacted by government.
2. Public schools (for which I pay taxes) outlawing Christ, God, the Gospel, the Bible, prayer, etc.
3. My tax money subsidizing blasphemy in the name of "art".
4. My tax money subsidizing Planned Parenthood and abortions, and a glut of antichristian NGOs who promote ungodliness everywhere.
5. Laws forcing property owners to rent/sell to open sodomites, lesbians, satanists, etc.
Government, by taxation, regulations, etc promotes or destroys whatever it chooses. The government currently promotes humanism, atheism, socialism, and liberalism, while stifling Christianity, individual control over health care and childhood education, and in general anything pro-God.
And its just getting started.
The issue is, will government promote and be guided by man's failed philosophies? Or God's perfect Word?
Liberals oppose theonomy because they oppose obedience to God, to put it bluntly. They scream about "men cannot administer Bible law perfectly" but have no problem with men administering ungodly human law imperfectly.
America was great in accordance to how Biblical it was. Today, we are reaping the fruits of godless humanism in society. And it cannot be otherwise. When society and government thumb their nose at God, they are both cursed with madness.

Re: BY THIS STANDARD-Greg L. Bahnsen
Public schools (an arm of government) promote sexual perversion, fornication, sodomy, and so forth. They defend it, they teach it, they subsidize it, they indoctrinate children to support, defend, promote, and practice it and tolerate it.
A Christian society would have none of this. Schools in a Christian society would be forbidden to promote sexual perversions, and instead would be required to teach, promote, defend, and subsidize heterosexual monogamy within the bounds of marriage-for-life.
The first is called "freedom", the second is called "tyranny".
How's that freedom been working out for society?
People are blathering about conflict with Russia or China, or Iran. What nation expects to fight and survive, let alone prevail, in an existential conflict with a peer superpower, when its Special Forces men parade in high heels and its elite Marines are trannies? Especially when one of those peer superpowers has a government policy of promoting morals, ethics, values, traditional gender roles, and FAITH TOWARDS JESUS CHRIST? And no, so sorry, that peer superpower just mentioned isn't the USA...
