Similar, but not identical. I believe thats why 1. its working there. and 2. Mass residents are not up in arms about it.
Here is my question. Mass went to Bamer. Is that a mandate for Obamacare because Romneycare works? Or is it a slap to Romney because they feared federal sized Romneycare?

Notice the first four paragraphs of page 6. And remember, though it says they are "not legally elegible because they do not have social security numbers", California has since given them SS#'s, as well as Drivers license.
Page 7 talks about how HUD, school officials, hospitals, and Medicaid officials are restricted from asking ones immigration status.
Better yet, just read the whole thing. You will see.
Also note that this report was written in 1993 !!!! The illegal population has increased ten fold since then.

Here is Obammers "Dream Act".
"The work permit young immigrants can receive with the deferral opens many doors that have been firmly shut. They can obtain valid Social Security numbers and apply for driver’s licenses, professional certificates and financial aid for college."
Two things to note here. This was back in August. They were givenSS#'s and Drivers License, which means they can vote. Obama won the hispanic vote to the tune of millions of votes. Coincidence ?

I do, they now have to compete with people who come here illegally and have given no contribution to the system what-so-ever for my daughters money to go to college.

Facts are facts. California has lost a LOT of jobs to other states like Texas because California has a really high tax rate and an unfriendly business environment due to regulations and fees

In addition Ca just voted itself a tax hike on the rich (what few are left) and an increase on an already high sales tax to fund a school system where the teachers salaries and pensions are the highest in the nation
Many Ca cities have already filed for bankruptcy due to it's having to pay high salaries to public union employes and their pensions

90% of MA residents already had insurance before ORomney put his plan in place. So, I'm thinking they voted for Obama because they want socialized medicine. Although, they don't view it that way. They just want something done about it and feel Obama is the only one that moved it forward.

When did CA give a DL and SSN to illegals? When did they stop asking immigration status for programs like welfare or snap? And when did they start giving free medical care to illegals aside from emergency care that is denied to nobody?
