Hmmmmm....should Daniel go to General Conference? I think he should....IF he leaves his AFF reporter's notebook and pen at home! No need to trash the conference, Dan. Go with an open heart and mind. I can almost guarantee that you will hear something good and uplifting, something that will help you.

Well, way back then you didn't have to pay. I want to say it was 1983, but I'm not completely certain of that.

I agree.
There's nothing wrong with going to GC if you are no longer a part of UPC. I've been back a few times - still know a lot of people.

Well, IMO, if you spend an exorbitant amount of time denigrating a group of people, calling every aspect of their salvational doctrine false (HMH hair aside - I agree with him on that), dragging their comments made on Facebook and other forums, etc., and then you show up at their General Conference - "Hello my brother! Hello my sister! God bless you all!" It's rather hypocritical to me.

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.

Well, the world is full of hypocrites - - some are backslidders that come back to church. I know you'd welcome them.
