I guess my view is that when you bash those who speak of abuse as having wrecked themselves, you are probably just as guilty of those bashing the UPCI.
Very good point. I'm sure when young children were being molested in the Catholic Church, many of them were ridiculed or berated for making such accusations. In other words, "How dare you question those who are HOLY!!"
My wife was molested by her father for the first 9 years of her life. When she came forward to tell the World about what was going on, some of her own family thought she was lying or exaggerating.
A few years ago, her father died in prison, on "3 Strikes You’re Out" felony charges, all of which were child abuse.
Wow... so if I hadn't left, I wouldn't have had to crawl out of my cardboard box this morning and panhandle for something to eat? I guess I missed that left turn at Albuquerque!
