A few months ago I started a thread for three-steppers so that they could give support for their doctrine. I actually wanted to help them and no one stepped up.

Re: Just How Liberal is AFF?
While looking back through the archives I discovered that people have been complaining that this forum is too liberal, or not Apostolic enough, pretty much since its inception.

No, to be like Jesus is to use a scourge of small cords.

No, bread and fish were only for those who wanted to listen, yet after tthey listened and found out there were hard sayings invovled, they split. Jesus then told His 12 if they wanted to follow.

Those were the Jews, who had a corrupt high priesthood, and were involved by a temple cult. A cult that placed more emphasis on a building than their God. Whoops, hey doesn't that sound familiar?

Yet, after they had their Filet-o-fish Sandwiches, Jesus started to preach about some hard food, being His flesh and blood. They lost their appetites and walked away. Jesus is maturity, the ones who walk away are those who had understood the details, yet didn't want to pay the price.

You know, my siblings all agree, that my father and mother would correct us, and not raise their voices (If my father was yelling at you, you weren't in trouble, it was when he was talking low, you had to watch for).
Jesus in John 6 wasn't using a cord of whips, turning over tables, or calling people snakes, or varmints. Jesus was just telling it like it is. You see, that wasn't in no way blasting. Jesus was just telling them about eating His flesh and drinking His blood. That they wanted no part of. You see doctrine divides, and that is what the Charismatic movements found out during their latter pain movement. If they could make it more user friendly they could fill more seats, and henceforth be able to fill the coffers with gold.
Smooth words of sweet love messages might fill the pews with other men's wives, and children. It may appear to be growth, but it is nothing more than a crowd. Because it sure not Biblical Christianity. No, not in a long shot.

Actually, there are still plenty of people here who you would call three steppers. The thing is that those of us who are three steppers have better things to do than to argue with someone who just wants to argue. If someone were serious about wanting a Bible study type discussion, I'm sure someone would offer to take it to PM. People are sick of derailed threads, so they stopped posting. Many people have used hours of their time here in the past, used scripture to support their positions-- only to be told they were twisting the scripture, etc. It gets really old, and honestly, I can't blame them for just not posting anymore. I really hate it that many of them are gone-- because they are missed on this forum.
If you want to discuss the three steps with someone-- find a local pastor willing to give you a home Bible study. I'm sure you can find at least one "three stepper" as you call it, in the area you're in. If you can't-- and you seriously want someone to show you the "three steps" in scripture-- PM me some contact info, and I'll put a local pastor in your area in touch with you. I do have access to church directories so I'm sure I can find someone.

Sometimes there just is not time for all the forums we are on. Anyway I have not had anyone convince me that water and spirit baptism is not essential for salvation.
Does that make me a conservative? Even if I have worn a beard for 28 of the last 30 years? And I see no sin in a woman trimming her hair?
