This is a terrible act of violence, but I find it difficult to have compassion for the "Butcher of Wichita", his cup became full and his vile seed has produced the harvest of what he has been sowing for many years....death.
Returning violence for violence is not the answer. Yes, he deserved to die, as do we for all our sins, those known and unknown, but God is the judge. So, this man who did the killing stood up for his principles and did just what he judged the other man to do and he will spend the rest of his life behind bars. The devil always has the last laugh when we fall into the pit we judge others for - doesn't he?

In no way do I believe Tiller's killer was inspired of the Holy Spirit to do what he did. And I agree violence is not the answer, this will bring out the pro-choicers with a vengeance. And yet they completely ignore the violence done to the millions of unborn and nearly born.

Having said that I will not shed a single tear for the death of this man, even though I sincerely believe that the fire of the presence of his creator will burn all wickedness from him and he will be reclaimed as a son of God.

His killer will face justice and will pay the price for his crime.

Bingo! This is ammunition for those who already think right-wingers deserve to be on the terrorist watch list.

If you live by the sword (scapel) to take lives, you can expect to die in like manner. I do NOT relish in the death of this man Christ died for. I only wish that he would have seen the error of his ways earlier.

Yeah I wonder if the shooter thought he was moved by the Spirit and if he was why didnt he track down the mothers who want to abort their children since they have no natural affection. There in lies the problem - the mothers are void of natural affection.

To me, the shooter is no different than the Taliban. The Taliban are not moved by the teachings of Christianity and neither was this shooter.

And anyone that believes the shooter was avenging the babies - need to take the time and try to contact him in jail (if they found him) and start ministering to him about what real movement of the Holy Ghost is. Otherwise lets not praise his dirty deeds because he is on his way to hell unless someone takes the time to witness to him.

carjak,
you have brought a great thread to highlight your confidence in UR even after a tree falls and (presummably before) the books are opened.

I do not have the same confidence you witness with this post.

While I believe the sin of the shooter is a serious crime and a sin, it pales in comparision to the intentional killing of thousands of innocents the doctor (sic) was responsible for.

Degrees of wrong in murder?

I would agree that the number of murders the shooter has executed probably pales in relation to the abortionist.

But a murder is, indeed, a murder. The abortionist took many lives... this is true... but every one of them were equally as wrong as the other... as was his own murder.

Murder is, always, murder.

Sin is Sin! Both me were and are sinners in need of salvation. It is just that simple. One sin doesn't justify another.

This just goes to show how the enemy will play with our minds and make a fool of us.

Yes I agree equally wrong individually.

But, the killing of innocent babies that cannot fight back, smacks more of a Sadaam Hussien or a Hitler...
