the methodist, wesleyan, etc named the infilling of the Holy Ghost as the second blessing.

Actually when I pasted the 1914, is supected some one would notice. UPC was so called after 2 names were merged. some oneness ministers I hear go back to 1917 where preachers were starting to preach in Jesus name.

Do you remember the PCi and the PAJC?

I was trying to point out that being Pentecostal and being Separate from the world are not the same thing. one can be pentecostal and not be separate and one can be separate and not be pentecostal.

as for pentecostal ladies and what they wear...i know pentecostal ladies who only wear skirts and those who wear pants....what they wear has nothing to do with them being or not being pentecostal.

If someone says they did not exist before 1945 that may mean they had not merged before 1945 and adopted that name of the post merger group.

Kinda like Mrs Smith got married in 2009. That means she took on hubbies name at marriage but we can't intelligently say she began to exist on wedding day.

I have no problem with the way a lady dresses but if the UPC is going to let ladies wear pants then I think it needs to be addressed from the pulpit the pastor needs to say hey it is ok for a lady to wear pants not just skip over it and dodge it.
