You can mention the trip, but you can't request that people click on Google ads. Google is good about monitoring that kind of thing. If they start getting lots of repetitive clicks from single or common sources, Google will flag it, and then they won't get any money from ads at all.
About 25% of our monthly income comes from Google ads on my husband's websites.

I know!!!! Not trying to put a damper on anything! Just FYI and FYI for those who mean well, but can cause more harm than good by repeatedly clicking ads! LOL!!!!!
