Ferd...in no way am I bitter. It is unfortunate that BOOMM has led you to believe this. I work with statistics all the time in the job that I do. When I see a comparison of 54 days of one forum, 388 days of another, and 1469 days of another...and then try to compare all of them...we are not comparing the same things. I've said...give us data of 54 days of one and 54 days of another. As someone who reads and interprets statistical data, I am always looking at like events.
Really, I am not bitter at all. In no way shape or form. I am sorry that others have inferred that.
SoCal is correct from the perspective we are trying to compare apples to oranges.... each of the forums are composed of a different combination of posters (with their own individual posting styles), moderated differently, and may contain more/less "serious" vs "for fun" threads, etc....
no serious data analysis or statistical trending can be done as the vast differences do not make the sample data ranges replicatable (or repeatable). This thread certainly doesn't imply that AFF is better than another forum (even if everyone knows AFF is the best anyhow).... it only shows us how much "posting volume" we've put out there.... that in itself doesn't prove anything....

...and once again....for the record...I am in no way bitter. Just pointing out a comparison difference and that was all. I am sorry BOOMM tried to make it more than what it was...unfortunately.

I think you should open up a new Apology thread to make it right.... or at least post on someone elses' Apology thread to make it more official....

Do you live in a dark, damp cave with no light? Is there not any sarcasm in your part of the world? If not, you'd never make it in NYC.... I bet you're just jealous that you aren't as witty as I am....
Actually, I spent an entire day ALONE in NYC in September so I believe I could make it there.

True, but that's easy to fix too - just multiply the numbers out at the current rate it's going and you will get an apples to apples number!
