I think our reasons for choosing are quite similar underneath. My journey to this major is a long one, and this major/degree isn't going to be the cumulation.

Rhoni, I know what you mean. I almost posted to you earlier. I've only just recently found my passion back. It'd been gone a long, long time. It's a hopeless sort of wandering time for sure.

As for the rest, I'm going to repost something philjones posted to me.

Do you realize that I and every other part of the body is incomplete without you? We may be getting the job done but usually in a prosthetic manner... using a program in place of a person. We NEED you... You ARE a Body part even if at present you are not a part of the body. Just come on home... the Father has resized your robe several times, the ring is continually polished and prepared for your use in authority, all seven of the cows just outside the mansion door started out as your fatted calf, the table is set, the party is ready... all that is missing is you!

Having quite a few "Martha" friends, I know you speak the truth about the trauma. You'll find your kitchen to cook in again. Me, I'll sit over here while you fuss and clean around me. If nothing else, consider the balance that needs to exist. If there weren't Martha's, people like me would be stuck sitting in a big mess and going hungry.

Regardless, I have lost my passion...and am just coasting right now. I have always lived for others, and what I could contribute to the kingdom, but I have realized that others, and the kingdom don't really need me. It will go on with or without me. Traumatizing for a Martha like me.
