Can we say simply that Jesus chose not to sin because he had no desire to sin? Was there no internal struggle between his flesh and the Spirit that indwelt in him?

Notice sin is transgression of law...breaking law. Notice why the Son of God was manifested? Because of the committing of sin. It's something we all have done.

I think we can say the desire was there but the Spirit of God helped us to overcome the desire to succumb to the temptation? No?

Thank you. That is exactly what I have been saying and what they are disagreeing with. (Yet there were indeed struggles between flesh and spirit.)

Of course, I am still waiting on them to answer the questions concerning Satan's temptation of Christ.
