for one thing, not using the name Jesus is vastly different as this is something all evangelicals agree on and is not simply a matter of personal doctrine.

I was ask if I believe that a Baptist was a sinner. They have not obeyed the Truth so they are sinners.
So the fact that they have repented, live holy and are doing all they do means we shun them and not speak to them?
In Feb of 1977 I confessed Christ in a SBC. In April of that year, I received the Holy Ghost. It was a progression toward God, not at all without basis on what I had found at the SBC.
Not that I would attend any function where they limited what would be said or declared at all either, but not all Baptists are forever lost.

Good post BOOMM. I have family who are AOG and while we do not agree on quite a bit doctrinally, I in no way consider them sinners...they just don't have all Truth.

Oh Lord, don't let us lose sight of the Boom's in Baptist churches! If we turn our backs on these "sinners" why then even go to the mission fields?
