I don't know the full story or the story behind the story... this is a place where we have (or I have enjoyed "SAFE" fellowship) ... for someone to take things beyond this level concerning a difference in opinions concerning scripture is malicious and unchristian...

People get carried away sometimes. I think the fact the apology was offered and given speaks to the individual's credit.

Anonymity does have its advantages!

I do think a apology was necessary..but there is such a thing as too little too late...

Pastor Poster is left with handling what ever damage was done.. while the person who apologizes gets a pat on the back for having a little bit of character.....

It doesn't wash sometimes... but of course I haven't been all most of the day and read thru about 15 pages....

For the love of everything that is holy I cannot figure out HOW this unfortunate incident became a "Let's bash the UPC together" thread!

"Thats the way the UPC is"

It literally amazes me that some people find something, anything, to fight an organization with.

That evil, evil UPC.

What happened is not right but using it to bash an organization? If some of you fought he Devil as much as you fight the UPC he would be begging for the bottomless pit!

So many things come to mind with this nonsense. None of them good, though.

What was done was wrong. It has been dealt with. Extensively behind the scenes. But, in your haste to justify your anti UPC sentiment, you try to justify the 'down with the UPC' rhetoric.
