Re: Crossdressing...Just how does a woman particip

In the mist of so many questions and this and that I am sure I do not have all the answers but I do want to be a christian both in word and deed.

I do not wear the kind of pants that are immodest. Neither does my wife!

I feel like a dress/skirt for women today is closely associated with dress clothing. Usually not associated with casual clothing.

I do not like to see a woman in a suit/tie/shirt combo...or a tux. That is distinctivly male clothing. Every year at prom time the letter goes out that a tux on a girl attending w/another girl won't be tolerated by the school.

It doesn't take long to find the women who are dressing to be a man. They have short manly hair cuts and clothing styled for a man...even more distinctive is the spirit they possess and the manner in which they carry themselves.

My sister was married to a Samoan guy, those men wear skirts. I dare anyone to call them queenies to their face.

Very few of them do. I know many samoans that don't participate in the skirt wearing.
I don't understand why a rough and tough man would want to wear a womans garment anyway.

I appreciate the fact that a school is able to enforce standards.

Nobody usually has a problem with a school or a community enforcing a dress standard but if a preacher tries to do that everybody calls him names and says that he needs to get with the times.

I was thinking back to when someone made a point of men on the platform and how their "stuff" is viewed. And I was thinking that if they wear dress pants and those are deemed as even immodest, what is left for a man to wear? It would have to be a pretty noticeable display to make you look at a man's crotch when he is sitting on a platform. So, being I've never experienced that, now I'm all confused about men's pants.

Lol - - well, I've seen it and NOT been looking for it!

The point is modesty - not pants. We are to dress modest. You can be modest wearing pants or you can look like a shank. You can be modest wearing a dress/skirt or you can look like a shank.

When a skirt hugs up under the bum of a lady or her top is so tight you can see a mole protruding, she's probably not dressed modest - even though it's a skirt/dress.

Same thing for a man. Maybe time to move up a inch or two in the waist size of your pants or wear pleated pants if you can't sit without displaying the shape of your wears.

There is something that I want to address about male modesty. But I am afraid of the response...
