So then you would agree that there are preachers who allow Brothers to preach in jeans and long sleeve shirt.
Yes I have preached with jeans (Wranglers) long sleeve shirt and even had to teach and preach barefoot, once in jeans and once in a suit (three piece).
I hope that answered your question.
I do feel that a Brother should have a suit on while he is behind the pulpit with a white shirt, and no removing the jacket to preach.

I know we were in one church service.. in West Tx.. a very well known pastor and my husband came straight in from work.. oilfield attire (some know but for those who dont coveralls with a long sleeved tshirt over them and work boots) he just came straight from work that night.. wanted to get to church and changing time would have made him miss it. He was asked to come and preach that night.. He begged the pastor to not have him that night as he was not dressed right (this is a former JCMer who was taught you didnt walk into the house of God in it if you couldnt wear a tie with it! ) and the pastor insisted.. LOL.. he never goes anywhere without a suit and tie in the car now at all times!!! This same pastor was pastoring 3 churches at that time and actually had him leave twice from work to go preach in one of his other churches... so he caught on real fast to the... keep the church clothes in the car idea LOL
He preached many a youth service in Jeans and a nice shirt... Looked pretty slick too I must say... But he does indeed try to look very nice wherever he goes for church... but occasionally he does go casual but very rare!

That is not a standard for every church on the planet, but that is business attire to preach here. What ever some one does in among their own church family is there business.
If they get up behind the pulpit wearing nothing but a wooden barrel that's their deal. Myself and the other Brothers that I fellowship wear suits, white shirts.
I myself would prefer that everyone keep their jackets on while preaching. You want to discard your jacket do it when you get to your hotel room. White shirt, or any kind of shirt (except super dark colors) show sweat easy, so best you keep the jacket on. Look right and tight.

in the brush habor days they wore bib overalls many poor people didn't have money for a nice suit. some came straight from the fields and farms and Guess what???? GOD STILL MOVED!!!
wonder how that is possible ???? no suit and tie??? IMPOSSIBLE

Ok.. now first of all you know I am not being rude or harsh or condemning as you know my spirit but honest question.. how do you feel about people preaching in colored shirts? Example,,, Deep Red,,,, Black... Or even Pinstripe?

NOOOOOOOO My husband never preached there! He was asked many times but NOPE! This was in West Tx... Sorry I dont mean to offend no one but no way

Well he had one preacher tell him that everyone in his church must dress in dress attire.. well hubby got brave about a yr ago and took a bunch of guys from work to church w him.. well some of them dont even bring regular clothes with them as all they are doing when they are out there is working... 2 of them got the holy ghost that night.. the pastor pulled hubby aside and apologized that night!

I myself would not choose to preach in a suit with a polka dot, pink, lime green, black, purple, or burgundy shirt.
I and the others that I fellowship with here wouldn't like it either. If I go to a church where they are wearing blue, purple or green shirts that is their preference, and has nothing to do with me. If they came to preach here I would ask them to 86 the color shirt and switch to white.
Brother Hebert and the Brothers in Deridder wore different colors and never had a problem with my three piece suits.
