Unfortunately, laws are very difficult to draft and pass BECAUSE of all the different circumstances that can come into play. And while I don't sympathize with those who want to cause harm and traffic drugs and who knows what else, I do sympathize with those who are good, family men who are trying to give their wives and kids and parents a better life.

Yeah. It's kinda tough to get tough with someone just trying to feed his children and chase after the American dream.

Sorry Bubba ... I lived in a state that had union guys in NY ... they have guys here that are undocumented working road construction ... I can take pics if you like ... and I know a handful.

Cooper, I don't see anything wrong or racist in what you said. Anyone who comes to this country should learn English and if they cross the border illegally and get caught whatever punishment they get they've earned. I can have some compassion for people who come here to make a life for themselves, but I have known too many illegal Mexicans that are here just to take as much from America as they can. I've lived in Los Angeles, Texas, and Indiana and dealt with illegals for years. LEARN ENGLISH!!!

The guys here get paid dirt for road construction compared to the NY union guys... I met a guy in NY ... who had a 3rd grade education and was making $80-90 an hour operating a crane ... rumor was he had to whack someone to get the job.
