Where does the Bible say that?

Witchcraft has to do with more than the spirit world according to the Bible.
The art of compounding herbs, spices, etc was practiced by both the good and the bad. It was used by magicians, physicians and pharmacists. The art was practiced to formulate the incence used in altar of incence the holy place. (Ex 30:25; v 35; 37:29 ; Ecc 10:1)

It is referred to as the art or work of the apothecary.

The fact that it was translated as something different expresses the difference in translation. This is why words have multiple meanings where some of the meanings are entirely unrelated and I fail to see a connection at all with idol worship and witchcraft to pharmacology.
Oh the denial. Oh the denial. It is understandable that you would deny it because it is the field that you're in.

Re: Witchcraft = medication

Is a mixture of oil and alcohol a "medication?" Would that count?

The LORD's requirement for producing the Anointing oil for the priests and the incense for the Altar of Incense were satisfied by the skills in our profession. We're called Apothecaries.

Our profession has the distinction of being the most trusted profession among consumers. When your doctor can't be bothered, who do people ask for advice? The pharmacist, the shaman of the modern world.

Do your muscles hurt? Do you have a headache?
Need a sunblock? Do you have minor sunburn because you didn't use any?
Perhaps a little acid indigestion from eating the wrong food on Father's Day?
Constipation? Diarrhea?
Do you have a cut and want to make sure it doesn't get infected?
A little cough perhaps?
Maybe you've picked up that nasty flu bug and you just want a little help with the symptoms?
Do you have dry eyes? Do you have dry skin?

My profession has developed remedies for all of the above and they're available without needing authorization from a physician. If you have any (or all...) of the above problems and you don't mind the remedy being developed by a shaman, no worries.
I'll be glad to direct ya to something that'll fix what ails ya.

If you're interested in avoiding using those things and you'd prefer a natural or homeopathic remedy, you're in business, since they're produced by us shamans as well. Our profession wrote the book.

May The LORD, the revealer of answers to mysteries, bless us all and grant us both revelation and perspective.

I have already answered.

I don't think that calling names and insulting others reflects Christian character. And telling me to "sit down and shut up" doesn't work very well.

Consider your posts reported.
It shows an ungodly attitude, which is sin.

Re: Witchcraft = medication

People need to realize that "drug" use was an occult practice.

Medicine for making people better is a scientific practice. There are no evil spirits being consulted etc etc

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

This is the kind of erroneous conclusions people can fall into when they find a Greek word that is related to a modern day word (even if the original word has multiple meaning in different contexts)... and then try to apply one of the meanings of the original word to the modern day usage of the related modern-day word... and then try to create a link between the 2 very different word meanings (old and modern) by using the word linkage as a bridge between the two totally unrelated meanings.

Not only is it a terribly unsound practice, but that kind of exegesis can provide, and has provided in some cases, an undergirding [and badly flawed] foundation for some of the worst false doctrines we have today.
