I thoroughly enjoyed reading through this thread and seeing the pics. Being the daughter and grand-daughter of UPC ministers I had known personally many of those named here. Quite a few having been in my home as I was growing up. Bro. W.M. Greer was a dear friend of my dad's and he and his first wife visited our home quite often when he was TN ds. He was a humorous little (well, in one sense) fellow and his wife was a really funny lady. I would have lots of pics of ministers and some old church congregations if I could dig them out -- maybe ...

But can someone tell me WHY I never heard of the men listed below who ALSO were pioneers of the gospel?!

I have read countless books on this subject...so why are their names foreign to me?! What impact did they have on this gospel message being spread in the last century?! How come important details and names were omitted from my Apostolic education?!

Or am I the only ignorant soul in the bunch?!
