2) You told him the reaction he is getting is his own fault, and he caused all the pain and brought it on himself

1. Leaders are not shocked by the reaction of those they lead. It was a valid concern.
2. The reaction is in a way his own fault. he is the one leaving them. He is the one that has moved. I did not ever suggest they were "right" to react as they did. I did say, it is fully expected and as a leader (his word) he should have known that.
3 and 4 are just flat out wrong. I never said sh should be ashamed for having emotions. That is YOU PROJECTING>
