Re: American Idol

I was very pleased with the results, except I was amazed that Allison was in the bottom three! Next week, bye-bye Anoop.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

At this point though it's anyone's guess
Lil Rounds is an embarressment to Black diva's everywhere! She is a very weak contestant in my opinion. It seemed from the earliest auditions that the male contestants were stronger this year.

Well, I enjoyed her when she tried out...her voice is unique, but you are right, after "Rockin Robin", I was done. I just didn't hear her last week, so I wasn't sure what her problem was. After she gave her last performance last night, I thought wow, what drugs is she on...I want some!!! LOL

And Simon handled her with dignity...if you don't care, neither do we!!!

I will be watching along with Sis. Truthseeker in a couple of hours.

My family and I go over to her house to watch every Tuesday night. We consider it our 'family' time.
