A couple of ways- first, Windows Media Player 10 and 11 will convert from CDA (the common CD format on most commercial CDs) and "rip" those files to mp3 for playing on an mp3 player or PC system. WMP will also convert from WMA format to mp3- and back again, but going back you obviously will loose some "depth" to the sound- just part of the limits with the mp3 compression method.
I know, I know... Windows is not "cool," but neither is a nasty DNS hijack.
Secondly- and the method that I prefer: Nero Burning ROM. It will automatically convert and set things up for burning if that's the end product; or simply transfer the converted files to whatever destination.
Also, for playing it safe: the commercial or "Pro" versions of RealPlayer, Quicktime and some iTunes implementations. You will need a credit card - but that's better than being on the pointy end LadyRev's bow.

Tit 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Oh, you don't EVEN want to know the conversation that took place between her and I when I called to tell her that her computer wouldn't boot up when I did the restart!!!
And I've love to follow your advice above, but it's all Greek to me. I'm more of a 'show me' kind of person, and any directions I follow have to be typed out as if a 5 yr old was asking.

You too?! I am terrible with having to try and figure this stuff out.
A friend was trying to tell me to 'rip' a song, and I silently wondered how one 'whips' a song...

Thats what I was gonna suggest..
You may already have a program on the PC that will do this. Lots of Laptops come with music programs and CD burning software like Nero or Roxio

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
The maker is Koyote and I could not find any complaints on the net
However if you got a virus or spyware, odds are system restore did not fix it. So the problem might have been either bad programming or impatience to wait for the system to fully finish after an install.
