I just could not do it myself. I do not criticize anyone who would but to carry a gun daily where I might be forced to use it? I just couldn't.

well, each to his own i guess......

I like this verse: "Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God".

I received the Holy Ghost when I was 10 years old Bro.Eastman....I am in my thirties now.

Keep in mind...when it comes to using your weapon....it is ONLY used when all other choices fail....IF I was ever "forced" to use it, either my life is about to end or someone else's life is about to end.

With that said.......the media often makes it seem that every day your out there "Blasting away"...LOL

I think its a great idea.I also think there are some public offices that would be better served by christians as well such as becoming a judge. When I look at our court systems and all the filth that flows through it I see an area that so needs Jesus.

I was a Deputy Sheriff for a year and a half. I worked most of the time in the Jail.

It was a pretty weird deal when they handed me a .30-06 and told me to get in the tower and shoot anyone who reached the top of the fence.

You could have shot in the air right? The top of the fence would not be a good choice at our place considering the razor wire but honestly the gun would have been merciful considering what the dogs are going to do.
