prayers are the most important thing...they reach where we cannot and do what we cannot...Love to you and yours.

sis. alvear we are truly praying for you, and the imediate family. in times like these it is hard for anyone, but you and the family can have the assurance that we are lifting you all up in prayer.
folks we truly had an unforgetable ministers retreat. it was so refreshing, and so beneficial to all that took part in it. i want to say to bro. and sis. alvear how appreciative i am towards them as my leaders in brasil for them coming and taking the time out to come with the minsters from their field of labor. the word she brought to us made such an impact. the queen of sheba made the long journey of course to satisfy her curiosity, she had heard of solomons' fame, and his WISDOM. she came also to receive instruction of him. she came to hear his wisdom by this she would improve her own wisdom to govern her kingdom. her main objective to make that long journey that had a duration between 3 months to 3 years was to be instructed of the things of the one true GOD that solomon served. what a beautiful message.
pastor hugo also hit the nail on the head. he got right down to the level of each and everyone that was present.
we do ask each and everyone of you on this forum to pray for our endeavors here in north brasil. i am here to see with mine own eyes the load that bro. &sis. alvear carry. i am such a young man still, but their are times that i look at my leaders and say to myself "God how can they, and how are they?" the answer is so simple. When a person is following the footprints of God, our hands are in his nail-scarred hands. they are truly leaders that i look up to, and i always want to pattern my leadership after theirs.
as sis. alvear mentioned we are getting ready to embark on the construction of our new campground here in the interior. the Lord blessed us miraculously one year ago with approximately 7 acres of land. we are stepping out by faith next month to start building our open-air tabernacle, then we will start building after that an open-air cafeteria. we want to say we appreciate the alvears, their church, and bro. michael alvear for their donation of 2 thousand bricks. maybe sometime soon i can give you our testimony on how the Lord blessed us with this property.

I slept very little looking for a cheap flight but on the spur of the moment it looks impossible but I know God knows what is best and more than nything I desire prayers for my sister and for her to get in church...OH! how she needs God´s love today.

Praying for your family. Maybe you can schedule your visit to your sister a little later. The cost of the trip will be less and she may benefit from a you visit after to stress of the funeral is over. Just a suggestion.

I just called my sister and told her I am trying to come if it be God´s will. She is in need of your prayers in many ways...many ways...One of our boys is at a travel agency trying to find me a cheaper ticket...It is very hard from this area of Brazil. If I were in south Brazil things would be easier. However if it is God´s will he will make a way. Someone has already got in touch with me that if I can get to Memphis they will drive me to Paragould, Arkansas.

They have located me a ticket to atlanta...so progress is being made...progress is slow in this area of Brazil.
