Re: The Temple Mount
Christian Dispensationalists cannot refute Rabbi Tovia Singer because they believe so much like him. So much in fact that they would be taking notes.

So, to hades with the 2nd temple. LOL! It was just a spacer...
I really see future animal sacrifices as a big issue with prophecy interpretation. Memorial sacrifices? Really!? Because G-d wants a memorial of the old covenant, a covenant of death.
Do people really think through their beliefs?
I had an assistant pastor tell me that God HAD TO insert a gap in Daniel because the Jews rejected messiah. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN!?

Actually, a majority of people don't. They really are never given all the information. Therefore they are unable to make logical conclusions. Also emotion and other factors tend to make people ignore facts. So, they end up believing baloney. A good book to get an overview to all of this is about "cognitive dissonance" called " Mistakes were made but not by Me"
Brother Irvin Baxter Jr isn't just some ignorant rube sitting in some obscure part of the world. Somewhere inside Brother Baxter he understands what he is selling is utter fiction. Yet, he is making bank on that fiction. Therefore his cognitive dissonance has to reinforce and justify what he is doing. It is an ecclesiastical madness brought on by wishful thinking.

And these sacrifices continue throughout the millennium while Jesus, who was the one sacrifice for all, is ruling on a throne in the same temple. I've thought it through and it doesn't make sense.
Great post Houston!

Re: The Temple Mount
In Ezekiel 45:22 the Prince makes a sin offering for Himself. Rabbi Tovia Singer points that out but doesn't understand how Jesus did that in His anotenment. Because futurists take Ezekiel's Temple as a literal future temple, they are stuck with a post Resurrected glorified Jesus King on Earth who is now making sin offerings for the people, but most of all for Himself. Clearly not a memorial, but explicitly stating that He (the Prince) makes a sin offering for Himself through ANIMAL SACRIFICE.
