I agree that it was even over the top aggressive. It makes me wonder, what if the man had responded in kind. Sometimes things have a way of escalating. What if he had taken care of business and the bouncers became the bounced. I wonder if it would still have been placed on YouTube.

Please watch it again. When they drag the joker out of the congregation to beat his head against the curb You can see one of the parishioners leaps up to help them. That guy would of had to be IP Man to survive in that church. 3/4s of the congregation would beat the snot out of that guy, and Steven Anderson would of called the News station himself.

It sounds like he was facing a full scale mutiny. Talking about a church split of losing ninety percent or fifty percent would be preferable to pastoring a half Trinitarian church.
I couldn’t help but find humor in the fact that he wanted them to have the courage to stand up, when he called the other guy a bozo for doing so.
