Was that the point of the thread or was it rather to traffic in conspiracy theories? It seems the Donald has the ability to make his followers line up unquestionably behind him regardless or how outlandish the behavior, they are loyal to him, even when it defies all common sense. Falwell is an idiot. The GOP didn't leak the tape. The media did. If the GOP wants an excuse to not support him, they don't have to leak anything. Trump will give them an excuse without any help. He's a walking, talking, tweeting time bomb. Just give it a few days, he'll say or tweet something stupid, or attack someone for some reason.

I don't believe Cruz would've been destroyed by his party as you claim.
