That one is on the "to read" list. I'm debating what books to read next. I really want to read Jerusalem: The Biography, but I may go with Man's books. not sure yet.

Finished all of them.
I am halfway in three other books, I tend to read 3 books at the same time, when I get bored with one I switch to another one. My rotation system allows me to finish even boring or extra long books.

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0
I just finished Narcissism: Denial of the True Self by Dr. Alexander Lowen.
A fantastic, eye opening book, that, as much as it stung, dug into me quite a bit, actually. Things from my childhood, not dealt with, seemed to come to the surface while reading.
I recommend it anyone who has had a screwed up past.
https://www.amazon.com/Narcissism-De.../dp/0743255437
PS. Content Alert. There is some language that not everyone will appreciate. It's not used for any purpose other than context, and is not part of the author's vocabulary, but rather acts as a conveyance of thought for how different people in the case studies he presents in the book actually felt about their situations.
Additionally, it deals with the Oedipedal complex and issues regarding sexuality and its retardation through abuse. Not light reading, to be sure.

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0
Just finished The Way of Humilty by Jorge Mario Bergoglio, a.k.a. Pope Francis I (written before he was selected to be the Bishop of Rome).
This is a short, easy read. The book is actually comprised of two parts. Part One is called "Corruption and Sin". The second part is called "On Self-Accusation".
I found the comments about corruption to be inspired. Regardless of anyone's personal opinion of him, at the time of this writing, the man really knew his stuff. His main contention is that sin is an action, but corruption is a state. One may fall into sin, but otherwise, not be a corrupt person; however, anyone who is corrupt in their heart seemingly does nothing but sin.
His insights into this area I found to be quite keen. It helped me make sense of some people I know (LOL!).
The second part, I felt, was less focused, and kind of rambled on in no particular direction. The idea behind it, is that, in order to maintain humility, and in order to defend one's self from becoming offended if and when someone says or does something odious, the best thing to do is to resort to accuse the self of one's own short-coming and failures, so that the beam, and not the mote, is what is seen and is addressed.
I find the concept to be mostly right, theologically speaking, and was even pleased to see the example of David and Shimei used, something that at different points in my own life and walk, I have used, in an attempt to explain why someone seemed to be saying or doing something rather odious.
Be that as it may, I also detected a tinge of a recommendation to resort to self-condemnation, something I believe can be very dangerous, especially for the born again believer, who has been declared righteous in that Christ was condemned for him or her, so long as they are free from the practice of sin.
It's a fine line, to be sure.

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0
I started reading Ninja: 1,000 Years of the Shadow Warrior by John Man.
I couldn't really get into it, and so, put it down. In its place, I've begun reading a book I forgot I had (it was buried at the bottom of one of the many stacks of unread books laying about my bedroom), called The Noon-Day Devil: Acedia, The Unnamed Evil of Our Times by Jean-Charles Nault, O.S.B.
This book is a study into, and a meditation on, how the Desert Fathers of the Monastic Movement comprehended the sin of sloth, and more pointedly, the devil behind it.
It's been pretty eye-opening so far, and has, at least for me, been on the level when it comes to its Scriptural merits.
On a related note, I had a very difficult, even provocative dream after reading the first 57 pages. It's a dream that I won't get into here, but is one I feel is from God, as hard as it may be to comprehend that, as the dream gave me a chance to examine and understand some things about my past history with suicidal depression and involvement with evil spirits.
Hopefully, the rest of the book will be as enlightening!
