DM has been silent because this second term has had a bad start with all of the scandals and Obamacare gaffes. I'd be ashamed to show my face too.

the only thing shameful about this term is drones and surveillance. The republican agenda is not getting passed and Obamacare is getting implemented. nothing else wrong with the status quo except more need for economic reform. while not totally agreeing with national security policies, the national security vote and industry sees a reliable ally in the democrats and no need to support republicans. triangulation, going to the right of republicans and supporting issues on both sides of the spectrum to eliminate support and the need for a change of government from the national security voting bloc. the only issue is a challenge from the left to hillary. other than that, nothing but smooth sailing for democrats in the foreseeable future.

Republican definition of "natural born citizen" is to be physically born in U.S. We knew Obama's mother was an american citizen, so according to the current treatment given cruz, Obama should have been treated as an american citizen just because of his mother. He was opposed because it was thought he was born in kenya. That is why Trump is saying that cruz is ineligible, because natural born is defined as within the U.S. not because of a citizen parent. So all birthers who support Cruz are bald faced hypocrites!

DM, You just stated the point - Republicans opposed Obama's b/c and presidency because they claimed he was born in Kenya. That means what I said, they didn't believe his b/c was legit.

Just hearing that Cruz will renounce his Canadian citizenship. If you are born in Canada, you are automatically a Canadian citizen. So, he had dual citizenship.
