Re: Where Are The Scandals Now???
Wasn't in the news over the weekend, but it's gaining full steam now. Better hurry and bury your head in the sand again DM, because it's about to get rough.

Capitol Hill aides spent their Memorial Day weekend scanning hundreds of pages of documents related to the IRS scandal in order to prepare their bosses for what will inevitably be a frantic month of June involving multiple simultaneous investigations into government wrongdoing. By the time lawmakers return to session next week, at least four different investigations will be underway.

Hey, remember that story that Obama, Carney, Lerner, Shulman and the other stooges were putting out: that it was just "a couple" "rogue" employees in the "Cincinnati" office responsible.
Yah, about that:
Quote:
As The Daily Caller has reported, at least five different IRS offices including Cincinnati, Ohio; Baltimore, Maryland; Chicago, Illinois and El Monte and Laguna Niguel, California improperly targeted conservative nonprofit groups for extra scrutiny between 2010 and 2012.
|
Now there are 5 (F I V E) offices in various areas of the country which were involved. So much for the "rogue" employee steamy pile the administration was trying to put out there.
Again, when you have the head of the employee union which includes the IRS meeting Obama the day before the targeting started...it doesn't look good.

Have you looked in the bottom of the main stream media's trash cans? And, by the way, they forgot to take the trash out!
Someone said you need to get your head out of the sand. Nah..... you need to get your head out of the garbage!

Don't look now, DM, but they're still here....
DOJ went through 3 Judges before obtaining warrant on FoxNews Reporter. There's a new scandal...Judge shopping. (I'm kidding, I'm kidding!)

House Judiciary Committee investigating whether AG Holder perjured himself in testimony before the committee.

Awe, AG Holder "beginning to feel a creeping sense of personal remorse."
Quote:
"[F]or Attorney General Eric Holder, the gravity of the situation didn’t fully sink in until Monday morning when he read the Post’s front-page story, sitting at his kitchen table. Quoting from the affidavit, the story detailed how agents had tracked Rosen’s movements in and out of the State Department, perused his private emails, and traced the timing of his calls to the State Department security adviser suspected of leaking to him. Then the story, quoting the stark, clinical language of the affidavit, described Rosen as 'at the very least ... an aider, abettor and/or co-conspirator' in the crime," reports the Daily Beast.
|
Quote:
while Holder could deny knowing about the Justice Department looking into the Associated Press's records, he had signed off on the Rosen case. "In the Fox case, however, Holder knew he bore a direct measure of responsibility. He had approved a search-warrant application that equated a reporter’s newsgathering activities with criminal conduct. That put Holder at the center of the brewing controversy, all while the Obama administration was being buffeted over allegations that the IRS had targeted conservative groups and by the continuing Benghazi tempest."

Re: Where Are The Scandals Now???
DM is hedging his bets. He was all in for the prez and is trying to keep up appearances while the ship is sinking. Obama may finish his full term but all of this will keep him tied up and focused other things rather than expanding government. Fine by me. History will rank Obama low in the pantheon of US presidents. Carter will be thought of as a better president than BO.

President McCain or President Romney sounds pretty good right now.

A Constitutional fight sounds much better than a Rhino or Progressive Republican any day of the week.
The Gang of Three - Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee leading the charge.

As long as two or three true conservatives don't end up splitting the votes during the primary and allowing Christie to take the prize. I can hear ol Chris now during the campaign "You do NOT need to be afraid of a Hilary presidency!".

If we put up a principled man or woman who speaks to the people and has a distinct plan, we won't lose. Right now, the Republicans like McCain and Graham are fighting against principled people like Rand, Cruz and Lee. That means there is a possibility that we will not win again.

Re: Where Are The Scandals Now???
I remember that time I thought Christie was the hope for the Republicans in 2016. Yah, not feeling that anymore.

Same here. LOL! The GOP, at large, are working against us. Whoever the GOP puts up, I probably won't support.
