Does this mean one should not join most church boards?

If they keep secrets from the church body, yes.

I know you're being funny, but in all seriousness, some secrets are best kept from the greater group.........ESPECIALLY in churches! I'm not talking about finances, but there are a lot of church problems that need to be dealt with by the leadership and never passed on to the constituency. At least, in my opinion!

Actually, I wasn't even thinking about church secrets in the sense of members discussion their individual problems with the pastor, I was specifically addressing things like finances and other related issues that the church body should know about.

I gotcha.......actually, if churches were run like publicly held companies, and tithers and offering givers were treated like shareholders, things would be a lot different!

Well couldn't they have been true Nazi's and true Christians at the exact same time?

Deceived Christians, carnal Christians, even Christians only walking in the light they knew-- but still Christians nonetheless?

Nonsense. You're either one or the other. The Bible doesn't give the option to be in between. Light or Darkness. God or mammon. Christ or Belial.

Why the interest in Masonry? Is to find out what the secrecy is all about? I admit to being interested in the secrecy and what happens firsthand. But not enough to sacrifice my relationship with God.
