That was something that could have been addressed in advance. Hey folks...just be prepared that if I don't win the election, I am going to have to turn the faucet off...

I wish we had someone in the White House that knew when to stop the spending!!!! Maybe a bit harsh if true, but the government could use some such reality!!

This article makes it seem like these people were stranded somewhere in the middle of the night. And I think they knew in advance it would happen.

BTW I read the story. It read like a spoof with no quotes whatsoever except one word quotes from an unnamed source. Im a little suspicious
All the other news stories all quote the same one unsupported news story

Other aspects of the Romney campaign lifestyle also wrapped up quickly: his aides who tried to pay for late-night cabs on Wednesday morning found their official credit cards had been disabled, according to NBC News.
That said, he hasn’t cut the cord completely, as the well-being of his staffers is said to be his top priority right now as he has no official job.
The New York Times reports that he has reported to his Boston headquarters every day since the election and is trying to help get 400 staffers new jobs. So far, he has worked so that they all get severance pay through the end of the month.

I have one credit card. when the campaign is over pay the bills and cancel the cards is a very responsible thing to do. it shows maturity to stop charging us the bill.
