Re: Upc stance on Men's "shorts"

My preference (not doctrine) is that men wear pants and women wear full length skirts. I think theres room for adjustment within the range of modesty but this is my preference.

By room for adjustment I dont mean shorter or longer. I mean I feel loose pants on women are more modest than any skirts except full length.

Re: Upc stance on Men's "shorts"

Would all agree, that the amount of skin covered should be the same between men and women? If you (anyone) disagree, please explain.

I have always heard it taught that the line is "drawn" at the knee (with women), yet theres hasnt been a "spoken line" with the men that I recall, but they(church men) never wear shorts while many women wear at the knee(in my church world that is).

Should there be a difference?

My own evolving view on modesty is that my shirt needs to be large enough to conceal my 9mm.

Because I am ever so modest my shirt needs to big enough to cover my ever expanding stomach.

It is hard to explain why it's OK for a man to show his hairy arms when he wears short sleeves, but can't show his hairy legs by wearing shorts! But....it's OK for women to show their bare legs from he knee down.

8 months? Slacker. Other than work and church that is about all I wear. I have more shorts than I have pants.
