Sorry, Margie. I'm just seeing this. I don't want to take up too much of Renda's thread on her grandbabies, but he is doing very well.
I don't get to see him often, but I was with him for a few days a couple of weeks ago. Someone told me that a grandchild will know their grandmother and I wasn't sure about that until my visit.
His parents and I were standing in the hall and he lifted up his arms for me to pick him up. He then laid his head on my shoulder and patted me on the back. lol Too cute!
My daughter said he never does that with anyone and her part-time babysitter said, "He really took to you mother. He likes her better than he does me!" LOL!
I had a blast with him - Hot Wheels and tracks and noise, noise, noise.
I told my daughter, "He probably liked me because I was loud with him and was thinking, 'that's my kind of people'!" LOL!
You will be happy to know that our son adopted his wife's son (3-years old yesterday). His father abandoned his own son over child support. He asked us what we wanted from him. My son told him, "We don't want anything but the boy. We don't want your money." He immediately signed papers to allow that to happen. God is good!
