Re: Disturbing Worship to be a Crime in MO

My husband called the police on a woman who had been disturbing services for quite some time and her husband had as well (along with doing other various things that many in the church did not know about). He asked her at the door one night to not come back and she refused and walked right past him. He called the police. When the police arrived and the people started talking lawsuit, the police said asked if they had disturbed services that night. My husband said no. And the police man left and the people walked right back into the service. Talk about a nightmare.

Hmm, how was this resolved? If it was edifying in some way, it might be interesting to hear. Obviously the crashers felt some moral superiority, etc?

Well, something doesn't have to be "edifying" in order to be instructional.

Hmm, prolly a semantics diff; how can something be instructional, and not edifying?

It was resolved when they filed a lawsuit for an unrelated thing and dragged us through it for 18 months and then dropped it, finally. There was nothing edifying about it for anybody....
