We were both Paul supporters in the 2008 primary before switching to Obama in the general election. She has always said it would be great for him to win since he would actually change government up. He is out there on a few issues, but he hits the mark far more often than not.

I didn't get to see the debate last night and am listening to it now. Still have 45 minutes to go.

Thus far, I rate the debate as Gingrich (concisely explaining his views and plans in a totally coherent way) winning, Romney (I,I,I,I.....) in second, Santorum (Mr. Rogers with bad fiscal record - highest spending agenda of ANY Republican while in Congress) third and Paul (having met him in person, I could never dis this guy. He is so stinking nice!) fourth, and only because he cannot win the nomination.

Drudge has the headline that Romney is still standing, InTrade has him winning the nomination, but he looks weak to me. The fix is in, so it seems.

Gingrich has more solid plans and ideas. Since they are all flawed candidates, I will have to go with the one that can and does have the fortitude to effect those changes - that would be Newt Gingrich. I think he is still in the game.

Newt is making an awesome move by putting out 30 minute ads explaining things, such as his energy policy. That is an expensive buy and shows he has the money. I like that. I think Washington needs, as I've already stated and probably will again, is ready for some TNT and Gingrich is the only person to bring it.

Many people are criticizing Newt for getting huge campaign dollars from Adelson, the Nevada casino mogul, but the reason Adelson, who is Jewish, backs Newt is because Newt if FOR Israel.

I don't think the fix is in. The Establishment really wants to beat Obama, and Romney is the best choice. They are just rallying around the best choice they view.

Well, being a bit hesitant on his foreign policy - I actually would think it was a hoot if he won the nomination. I would laugh and give him a and yell - WAY TO GO RON PAUL!!!! LOL!

Actually, my husband and I were talking about, possibly, voting for him in the primary. LOL! Digging would be my best friend after that - ya think?!

His foreign policy is one of his bright spots to me. I like us getting out of other countries and focusing on ours more.

After throwing a hissy fit, I have to agree with Crackjak - Obama is a danger to our country and needs to be removed. I just think they are pushing the healthcare by putting Romney to the forefront - the media is doing that, regardless of what Brit Hume's lying lips are saying. Romney's own people have said they won't be repealing. So, Romney is really lying about that. Oh, dang, was I surprised or something?

The focus is turning to winning Senate seats for whoever gets in.

We have international businesses and Americans all over the globe. I don't really see how we can disengage ourselves from what is going on in other countries. That's the part I don't get with Paul.

Yep, even Newt agrees with me, "Obama is the most dangerous president in history."

Just this morning we now hear that the money brokers are getting together and twisting his arm to go after Assad. He is a war monger, only because others control him, he is a neophyte and president because of the stupidity of the American people to believe the brainwashing of the leftist media.

I agree with Ron Paul, we should go to war only in the right way, DECLARE WAR, define the enemy and the objective of winning. Beat the ........ out of the bad guys and take the spoils. Make the bad guys pay for the cost of the war. We are being bled financially in all these undeclared wars, did you even know that we have four or five fights in Africa, thanks to BO?

We have to engage in the world, but we should do it to establish decent governments ei: Japan and Germany after WWI. Win, take control, establish order and friends. The leftist are so wishy washy that there is no order, just pointless war.

If we would fight to win and establish order, more enemies would die during the war, but much less civilians and innocents would die in the pursuing years.

Iraq was a waste, because the leftist prevented a completion of what we started, now Obama has surrendered and given it all back. So what do we see bombing and killing as the bad guys fight to regain their control.
