Yep. I've listened to and watched it 100's of times and I'm a blubbering fool every time. Obviously the content is greatly moving with the racial struggles that were going on. But it goes deeper and I always think of my own dreams...most of which, haven't come true. Many times when I wonder if I'm worthwhile or the insecurity floods in, I'll listen to it and I'm ready to fight on.

The one where Prez G.W. cannot remember the word "factory" and calls it a machine making place...I almost peed myself

My favorite is "I Have A Dream" to me, there is none greater.

I think President Ronald Reagan was one of the greatest Presidents in American history. My hats off to a great man and a great President.

We need another like Reagan.

I agree whole heartedly. It was also nice being in the Military during his presidency. I must admit though that I voted for GB Sr in the 1980 Rep primary. Something that put some of my family all the way off, them being old school southern democrats. My mother told me my g-grandfather was probably spinning in the grave.

MLK was brilliant. I wouldn’t want to take a thing away from him or the Dream speech by making a comparison.

The 1964 speech to me is the greatest not because it is my favorite (it is not) but because of the odd reality that virtually everything he warned against in 1964 is still relevant to us today.

It has a timeless quality that is a near call to eternal vigilance against forces in the country that have always tried to drag the nation in the wrong direction.

There are other speeches that I “like” more but this one holds top honors because of the content. It is nearly prophetic.

That was HORRIBLE!!! It's not even possible!! But he did!!!

Surely even the Bush supporters would have to agree that he was not , "The Great Communicator"!!

His only great "speech" moment was standing in the rubble of 9-11 with all the work crews with the megaphone when he said, "They'll hear from us soon." In the atmosphere of that moment, it gave me chills.

Nothing else he said, did!
